what is a bungalow? i've been wrestling with that thought by ever since i was presented withthis topic to talk to you about. you hear of bungalows in the mountains, like amountain cabin. you think of a log cabin with very rustic interiors- lots of iron and wood involved in it, very rustic interiors- lots of iron and wood involved in it; fireplaces with brick and stone. thenthere's the beach bungalow where you walk outside in the sand is there as well as a fireplace to cozyup; more of a weathered barn board or weathered beach look to it. that's a bungalow also.

there are some famous hotels both thebeverly hills hotel and the chateau marmont there are some famous hotels: both thebeverly hills hotel and the chateau marmont here in los angeles. they have bungalows, which are private little guest houses, elegantly designed and furnishedfor their high-end guests for privacy, for many of the well-known clientele that they have. i guess the bottom line is a bungalowis a smaller space that can be located in many, many different areasand have lots of different ideas for decor and function

and it's basically what we talkedabout earlier in another topic which was a small home and the idea thatif you pay attention to the function of it and the details of it and make it aesthetically pleasing and environmentally correct for its location. that's what to me be a bungalow is. somewhat still confused but i think that's what it is.
