today we're going to talk aboutenvironmentally-friendly interior design. it's a topic that has been in the newsand in our world for several years now and there's a lot of debate on bothsides of it- both positive and negative. my own personal feeling is that itstarted out as a great idea. it became a marketing tool and it was not what it was intended to be. and the additional part of that is isthat when some of these environmentally correct materials are used in projects the effect negatively that it has on theenvironment is far more damaging than

the savings that is acheived by usingenvironmentally correct materials. in addition to that the cost is muchmore than anyone is really aware. we often think of the people who are more conscious about the environment- the recyclers, the people who are much more aware of air pollution and those kinds of thingsare the ones who would be more prone to want to do an environmentally correct interior design project. however the cost of that is also very prohibitive for many of them.

so while it seems nice there are certainthings that are good about it. and when i can i use those materials. we use a lot of recycled glass for tiles, bamboo for wood floors some mahogany coming from hondurasthat is not an endangered species whenever possible but we are notable to do one hundred-percent as everyone hope we could environmentally correct interior design project. stand by- it might get better. but we don't know.
