hello. i'm glad you're watching my video again. today i will draw bridge in the park with pencils. before i draw on a large format, i do some sketches and choose the best. then i mark the horizon and i sketch lines in one-third and two-third, vertical and horizontal. this help me redraw the sketch on large format and gain interesting composition. i mark the vanishing point, in the frame is the only one. and now horizontal lines, which designate the base of the bridge. from first vanishing point and from second vanishing point.
i'm dividing the area into smaller parts. and bold the final shape of the bridge. now sketch of man. his eyes are on the level of the horizon. assume that the average person has a 170cm growth . and now balustrade, should be about 110cm. now it's time to improve the shape of the balustrade. outline of the bridge is already drawn and i'm drawing people. i'm giving the thickness of the walls of the bridge.
ok, let's hatch lightly shaded walls with 2b pencil. now i'm setting the shape of a shadow cast. check out my tutorial on how to draw cast shadows, just click the annotation. i'm improving some lines and making walls white with art eraser. the shaded walls tinted in contact with the illuminated walls. this will enhance the space and contrast. we don't have anything beyond the bridge. let's draw something more. i'm starting to draw water with 2b pencil and finish with 4b. remember that water is the darkest at the edge. and make some wave with art eraser.
